Kids First Coupon Book A program of the Hamilton County Schools Fund for Excellence Effective Date: 09/04/26


Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using www.kidsfirstcouponbook.com (the "Site") or purchasing a Kids First Coupon Book. By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About the Program

The Kids First Coupon Book is a fundraising program operated by the Hamilton County Schools Fund for Excellence ("Kids First Coupon Book," "we," "us," or "our") to benefit Hamilton County's elementary schools. Coupon books are sold through participating schools and online, and feature discount offers from local restaurants, retailers, attractions, and service providers.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or purchasing with the involvement of a parent or guardian, to place an order through the Site.

3. Orders and Payment

  • All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice.
  • Payment is processed securely through our third-party payment processor Stripe. By placing an order, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
  • Orders are confirmed once payment has been successfully processed. You will receive an order confirmation by email and, if you've opted in, by text message.

4. Refunds and Cancellations

All coupon book sales are final and non-refundable, as proceeds directly support Hamilton County elementary schools" or your actual policy. Flag to Alexis: this section needs your input before publishing.

5. Coupon Redemption

  • Coupons contained in the Kids First Coupon Book are offered by independent, participating merchants and are subject to each merchant's own terms, restrictions, and expiration dates.
  • We do not guarantee the availability, quality, or terms of any individual merchant offer and are not responsible for a merchant's failure to honor a coupon.
  • Participating merchants and offers are subject to change without notice.

6. Text Messaging (SMS) Terms

If you provide your mobile phone number and opt in at checkout, you consent to receive transactional text messages related to your order (e.g., order confirmations and status updates) via our messaging provider, Twilio.

  • Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase.
  • Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies by order activity.
  • Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or contact us for any help questions
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, and images — is owned by or licensed to the Hamilton County Schools Fund for Excellence and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use Site content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

8. User Conduct

When using the Site, you agree not to:

  • Provide false or misleading information when placing an order
  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to interfere with the security or proper functioning of the Site
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Site without our permission

9. Disclaimers

The Site and all coupon book contents are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any merchant offer will be honored exactly as described.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Hamilton County Schools Fund for Excellence, its officers, employees, and volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, your purchase of a coupon book, or your redemption (or inability to redeem) any merchant offer.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Hamilton County Schools Fund for Excellence from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Site.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Hamilton County, Tennessee.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
